A man has been arrested after several men from political circles were targeted in an alleged copper trap plot.
The Metropolitan Police said the suspect was arrested in Islington, north London on Wednesday, charged with harassment and offenses under the Online Safety Act.
An investigation began in April after at least 12 men in political circles were alleged to have received unsolicited messages in a sexting scam.
